Restaurant owners have discovered that when they put flowers on the tables they have happier customers. You might briefly notice the flowers, but then you get on with your meal and visiting with your companions. But your mind has registered the presence of the flowers and have sent your body a happiness message.
Why not do the same in your home? You might not be able to always have fresh flowers on the table, but you can surround yourself with flowers. Adorn your walls with photographs of the flowers that make you feel good when you see them.
Flowers and plants in your home should be considered part of your mental health program. Why not, when they have the power to make you feel so good!
