Today is going to be about the yellow Daisies that were in the bouquet we had lunch with at the beginning of the week. What I really liked about these were the fun petals that haven't opened all the way. Things like this make it more than just a flower. It becomes a flower with personality.
One of the flowers also had a fun curled petal in the center. Yet another quirk of floral personality. I really wanted to make this curled petal a focus so I chose to do a macro photograph of this one. I like the very narrow focus on this image that is all about the curled petal. When I am out buying flowers I tried to look for flowers that aren't quite perfect. The blossoms with the imperfect petals or curved stems that give them something more than just being an ordinary flower.
This week we had lunch with my flowers and walked through taking the different photos. Looking at how I look at the flowers as I approach the photo shoot. The flowers are still looking nice in the vase so I will hopefully get a few more photos before they wilt down. It's been a fun blog week. I wonder what next week will bring.
